Donkeys are often described as beasts of burden. So as we meditate on the anniversary of Yeshua’s entry into Jerusalem to bear the weight of all that has brought about suffering, let us rejoice that He did so on a donkey. In that ride, He was making a profound statement….that He was the King of our Burdens. Since He is fully capable of carrying them, He reigns over them! In light of this eternal truth, let us give Him all of ours….for He is also the King of Peace. He truly delights in receiving our burdens in exchange for His peace.
